Each of nature’s treasures that I use in my work expresses itself to me in a unique way. I listen to its song and story and attempt to express it in my work. No two works are a like. The woods range from Western Cedar, Juniper, Cedar Elm, Mesquite, Pecan, Oak, Mango Wood, a variety of African and South American hard woods to Persimmon. Limestone, sandstone, volcanic rocks, cactus, grapevines, and fossils and bones also find there way into some of my creations.
